Using longitude and latitude and other coordinate systems

BraveGen attempts to get the longitude and latitude of all addresses in the system using the Google geolocation service. You can overide these coordinates with your own more precise coordinates.

Furthermore, you can also convert these coordinates to other projects such as the NZTM and NZGM projections.

To do this, edit the item you want to convert (location, incident, consent or permit).

In the Map Information box in the edit screen click the Get Lat/Long button under the projection you want to use. BraveGen still retains the universal longitude and latitude which it uses to display the map on the screen. however, your alternative projections are available for reporting and exporting to your own GIS systems.
